I was a mastopexy with implants patient of Dr Tuffaha in October 2019 and I highly recommend him for this type of operation. I met with Dr Tuffaha several times prior to my operation and this was never a problem for him, he was always very accommodating with his time and keen for us to have as much communication as possible prior to the surgery in order for him to gain a clear idea of the kind of results I wanted and to ensure that my expectations were reasonably managed in keeping with safety, best practice and longevity of results. Dr Tuffaha provided me with a substantial document on breast surgery written by himself to ensure that I had all information available to me before making my final decision.
During my stay in hospital, Dr Tuffaha visited me before the surgery and a couple of times afterwards, he is always warm and friendly and keen for me as a patient to be happy with the results of the procedure. I should also mention that the nurses and other hospital staff at Nuffield provided an excellent standard of care at all times.
I am extremely happy with my results and highly recommend both Dr Tuffaha and Nuffield hospital in Ipswich.

I opted to have a preventative double mastectomy with reconstruction due to being a BRCA1 gene carrier. Mr Tuffaha was amazing from start to finish. He was clear on the process, understanding and extremely professional. Any concerns I had Mr Tuffaha addressed them and I felt prepared and ready for the surgery. After the surgery my follow ups have been consistent and fantastic and Mr Tuffaha has shown a great care for what he does. My results are more them I could have hoped for and I now have the best looking boobs ever. I was skeptical about what I would look like after but the result is an amazing improvement on what I looked like before. I literally cannot thank Mr Tuffaha enough for his hard work and dedication!

Mr Tuffaha gave me the devastating news in December 18 that I had breast cancer but at the same appointment gave me the reassurance I needed that he would be providing whatever treatment was necessary to eradicate it.
Following successful surgery and a course of radiotherapy I am now completely clear and have already booked a balancing op with Mr Tuffaha (at my request).
Throughout my treatment I was so impressed with how Mr Tuffaha and all of the breast care and radiotherapy teams explained every step of my treatment plan, what to expect in terms of both physical and emotional effects my treatments may have and the wonderful support offered throughout.
Naturally I was somewhat nervous going into my first op but I have no real concerns now regarding my forthcoming op as I now know I’ll be in the safe hands of a truly professional team and as such I would have no hesitation in recommending Mr Tuffaha to anyone finding themselves in this unfortunate and unexpected situation.

Dr Tuffaha is an excellent surgeon, and I liked his very honest and straight talking manner. He made me feel relaxed and completely at ease throughout.
He came to see me after my surgery even though it was very late by the time he had finished his list which I was very impressed with. He also consults with others in his team and ensures the best possible outcome.
I am very impressed with the breast reconstruction and would highly recommend him to others undergoing this treatment.

Returning to his office after tests Mr Tuffaha confirmed that I had breast cancer.The fear of the word cancer and the unknown future treatment was absolutely terrifying but his relaxed attitude and positive comments gave me total confidence in him and the treatment he was suggesting. He performed my operation and I still have a breast ( although smaller) and the result is amazing.
The treatment I've received from Mr Tuffaha and everyone at Ipswich Hospital has been extremely good.

I was appointed as a substantive consultant at Ipswich Hospital in April 2018, I have completed my specialty training in London and the East of England in major teaching hospitals including Imperial College Healthcare NHS trust, Royal Free Hospitals NHS trust and NHS Tayside Trust in Scotland.
I completed an Oncoplastic Breast Surgery Fellowship in Frimley Park Hospital after obtaining my CCT (Certificate of Completion of Training).
